The Most Outspoken Ex-Surfing Mag Editor Has Just Spoken for 2-Hrs
No more than a few weeks ago I was having a fabulous gin and tonic with Sir Wade Gravy on a Barcelona terrace. I can’t remember the exact variety as he procured it, but it was divine. Him being Australian and myself being Canadian and both currently residing in strange foreign lands we got to talking about everything worldwide and under the sun. And I thought to myself, someone needs to land Wade on a podcast. Not so much for his surf knowledge, of which he has plenty after growing up with Matty Wilko and the boys as well as editing Surfing Life for a few years, no more so for his views on life and the world we live in. Now a few weeks later, finally, Rory Parker did on his Everything Is Always Terrible podcast about surfing and more. Gravy came through….
