The Future of Skateboard Politics + Media w/ Ambitious Young Filmmaker | The reality behind the process

Rohum Pourtahmasbi has one of the best names in skateboarding filmmaking and he’s also also making a name for himself in skateboarding politics and media. You know what I mean.

At the young age of 22, Rohum has quite the outlook. He just released “Rolling: Without Footage It’s Fiction” which just premiered at The Berrics to fellow ‘woke’ skaters. The film is a 50-mins of an ambitiously impressive documentary project. It all began as a short 5-minute University project a few years back. Rohum did what true skateboarders do best and threw all the chips in. Travelling the world and meeting his heros whilst casting a highly intelligent (especially considering he’s only 22) eye on the reality behind the process that puts those glossy skateboard films in front you kids faces every morning.

Here he talks with Hold Tight Henry about skateboarding, politics, co-operative business alternatives, the vector equilibrium; and much more. Hold Tight Henry is a long time skateboarder/filmmaker/activist from South London who’s realizing his dreams with Archigram Co-Operative Trading Union as well as Hold Tight TV. Get it!!!
