‘SLAM BY ME’ | A reimagined ‘Stand By Me’ w/ a cast of female skaters

 

Every day we wake up and wish for more fictional female led skateboard movies based on 80’s classics. Well finally, FINALLY all our hopes and dreams have come to fruition. Thanks to the Canadian talents of Alana Paterson and friends, “Slam By Me” is now ready for viewing.

 

Skaters instead of adolescent movie stars! DIYs instead of dead bodies! Rob Sluggos instead of trains! Inspired by the coming of age classic Stand By Me, photographer Alana Paterson’s new short “Slam By Me” is a charming, funny and nostalgic portrayal of everything that comes with putting your foot on a board.
