Scotty Lago Suing Best ‘Frend’ Keir Dillon For $50,000 | BC there’s no ‘I’ in Frends
Never let friends borrow money they say. If you are in the place to give them some to start up a business or whatever, then do just that. ‘Give’ without expecting it back or else surely at some point animosity will grow. It may even lead to a lawsuit like we have here between best Frends mctwist roller Keir Dillon and bronze medalist Scotty Lago.
As Boardistan says, “As we know from his appearance on Shark Tank, Dillion has spent far more than $50,000 chasing his Frends dreams. Hopefully they can work this out without going to court, because, you know, there is no “i” in friendship.”
The original article states:
“Lago filed the suit in Rockingham Superior Court Aug. 9 against Keir Dillon, a resident of Carlsbad, California, and who has worked as a television host and sideline reporter for ESPN and FUEL TV. The lawsuit states Dillon and his headphone company Republic of Frends, of which Dillon is CEO, was loaned $50,000 in August 2011 by Lago with the expectation Lago be paid back the following year with 7 percent interest.”

What shocked me upon researching this whole thing is that Frends as I knew it, a motley crew of feel good, dirtbag snowboarders, has somehow become a women’s only headphone company? Who knew…
Guys you’ve changed.
