Rick Ross Suing DGK for over $80,000 | Blowing money fast!
Rick Ross aka Ricky Rosé is suing DGK / Kayo Corp for over $80,000 in unpaid back pay. Hopefully the Bawse isn’t putting a hit out on poor Stevie Williams.
According to TMZ:
“Rick Ross had a deal with DGK clothing company to rock its gear in public, but he says the checks stopped coming … so now he’s suing to get his scratch.
Rick Ross Touring filed the suit, claiming Rick had a 2 year deal to be DGK’s brand ambassador which would pay him at least $10k a month … plus another 7% of profits.
In the suit, Rick’s people say DGK copped to being broke in Nov. 2015 and stopped sending his checks — and now the Boss is owed more than $80k in back pay.”
And The Ride Channel went a little deeper reminding everyone that there’s multiple skaters who got burnt as well:
“In 2015, Ross served as the face of DGK’s Hustle Sport campaign. DGK also released a Mastermind collection with him the year before.
Multiple riders have left brands owned by the Kayo Corp., DGK’s parent company, this year. Lenny Rivas, who rode for DGK, said the company hadn’t paid him in six months when he quit in June.”
The relationship between Ross and DGK seemed a little sweeter back in 2014 or so when he played an unannounced Agenda Longbeach show in head-to-toe DGK sweats.
