Quiz: 90’s or Now | Tackling the reappropriation of the 90’s in skateboarding

 

The 90’s are way cooler now than they were in the… 90’s? Sounds strange, but it’s true. The big thing in skateboarding right now is their reappropriation and well, they can have the whole damn decade as far as we’re concerned. Dad hats and all. Jenkem mag is having some fun with it with a quiz. Can you tell the difference between the cool kids or the real thing?

To have some fun, we rounded up 20 pictures – some from the 90s, others from today – and challenge you to try and figure out which one was shot in which era. It’s as simple as that.
