Did The Government Fake Tony Hawk​ Landing A 900? | 60% of American’s believe, “It’s a FRAUD!”

 

With all the fake junk coming out of America’s current “government” this skateboarding satire piece from The Onion about Tony Hawk‘s 1999 X-Games 900 stomp seems almost sounds plausible. Do you think Tas Pappas is one of the people that would believe this if it wasn’t a joke? Would they then make a movie with the 900 controversy as the main plot line? Hmm….

“Think about it. President Clinton promised us we’d win the race to launch a man and rotate him 3 1/2 times before the end of his administration, but that wasn’t feasible. So clearly, the government used a sound stage in Los Angeles to film Tony Hawk landing the trick to fool the public rather than risk national embarrassment.”
