Skaters Who Overcame The Cop Block | Get tricks or fight security trying

 

 

Skateboarding by nature is going to lead to some battles against both paid cops and security and unpaid local resident heroes. Unfortunately sometimes they come right as you’re about to land a trick. Sometimes a pro skateboarder will overcome these obstacles and create a true moment of glory. JENKEM gif’d a bunch of them out. If you’re gonna try to win the battle though as a skateboarder you’d better know your rights to getting arrested.

You could argue that this clip spawned a generation of kids who act like shit heads around security – it was that cool. Not only does Ragdoll do the trick (in perfect form) right next to the cop, but throws in a little unnecessary birdy at the end for good “punk rock” measure. Sure, people have always been skating around or through security guards to get their trick, but very few were so perfectly captured on tape that this one almost felt like a set up.
