‘YoBeat’ Founder Lost on Timberline | Saved by Mountain Search + Rescue 10-hrs later
Every year in North Vancouver people go missing and die by taking a simple wrong turn in the backcountry. Usually it involved ducking a rope that clearly states: DO NOT GO HERE YOU WILL DIE!!! Yet they go and we always wonder why.
That white gold. That’s why. They become addicted!
The founder of the infamous YoBeat website – Brooke Geery – found herself in a similar situation yesterday after a pow turn gone wrong lead to a 10-hour search and rescue ordeal. Usually when snow in a roped off area looks too good to be true it’s because it is. Brooke seemed to have a good outlook on it all on her Insta after what must have been a humbling situation. In a move that might have saved her she also outlined her progress on Snapchat and alerted the proper Timberline people.
Is Brooke Geery the new DJ Khaled??? It was just over a year ago that Khaled and all his major keys were lost at sea on a jetski, which helped lead him to become one of the greatest Snapchat celebrities of all time.
