First of all, look above. The YES. Snowboard crew called Biggie “Biggy”. Not sure if this was because they don’t know or they were trying to create a legal loophole for not paying the mans family for his usage. Kinda like creating sunglasses called “Oakly”, selling them for $19.99, and tagging people on Facebook trying to fool them. Well it didn’t work. The estate of Notorious is coming for YES. Kinda wished we grabbed one before they disappeared truth be told. Are Tupac, Eazy-E, and ODB next?

A snowboard company in Switzerland is facing a lawsuit from Biggie’s mother and widow for using the late, great rapper’s name and likeness.

Voletta Wallace, the mother of rap great Notorious B.I.G., and Big’s widow, Faith Evans, are suing a Swiss snowboard company for selling snowboards with Biggie’s picture and autograph, according to TheBlast.com.

Notorious B.I.G., which is owned and operated by Wallace and Evans, is suing the Yes Snowboard company along with famed Hip-Hop photog Chi Modu for selling products with the award-winning rapper’s face and autograph on snowboards without requesting permission or paying for its usage, according to the lawsuit obtained by TheBlast.

The lawsuit says, “At a time where fame and popularity for musicians comes and goes on an accelerated time scale, it is hard to quantify the power – both emotional and financial – of a musician whose brand and persona are still appreciated, recognized, and replicated more than two decades after his death.”
