Lost At Sea, But Not Forgotten | Remember Quiksilver CEO Pierre Agnes
Stories like these are heart breaking and hit closer to home than the average tragedy read in the media. Pierre Agnes, lifelong surfer/fisherman, husband, father, Boardriders CEO, and much more has been declared ‘lost at sea’ – as you’ve no doubt heard already – and the search has been called off.
The North Atlantic is a wild place even for the most dedicated boatsman. Read some words from those that miss Pierre Agnes and tell those closest to you how much you love them.
“I love this man…it’s just starting to hit me what a profound effect this man had on my life and the surf community at large. He loved his morning fishing trips, family, Quiksilver, surfing, friends, motorbikes, Capbreton…I’m not even sure how to let it sink in.”
I love this man. @pierre_agnes went missing in Hossegor today when his boat washed ashore in the cold, early morning fog. I’m praying for a miracle but it’s just starting to hit me what a profound effect this man had on my life and the surf community at large. He loved his morning fishing trips, family, @quiksilver, surfing, friends, motorbikes, Capbreton…I’m not even sure how to let it sink in. 😢
