Lost ‘Ancient’ Malaysian Skatepark Discovered in the Jungle
Was skateboarding secretly an ancient culture that was practiced hundreds of years before it caught on in California?
Sadly, probably not. But these photos that Rich Armitage (@RichiBobs) sent over to Sidewalk Mag of a ‘lost’ Malaysian skateboard park are pretty astounding and make you wonder. He found the overgrown site in the forests of Shah Alam while trekking around Selangor.
While it may look like ancient civilizations may have been using it that’s just how structures age in those kinds of environments. Just like some of those temples in Bali that look like they are hundreds of years old, but when you ask when they were built it was the late 1990’s.
