Dane Reynolds Is Back w/ Chapter 11: A Feature Film / Honest Memoir | Major shots fired at Quiksilver!

 

There has not been enough Dane Reynolds lately. Thankfully he just gifted us a heart felt 37-minute memoir from Marine Layer Productions entitled Chapter 11.

There’s old footage and new footage and introspective shots fired at his old mega sponsor Quik. Talking about the dark financial times over there and how they were keeping him under a magnifying glass looking for reasons to axe him. It’s all amazing! A couple others sliders make an appearance, mainly: Craig Anderson, Ozzy Wright, K Bone, Dillon Perillo, Creed McTaggart, Taj Burrow, Noa Deane, Dion Agius, and Dylan Graves.

We’ll be seeing a lot more of Dane soon with his soon to be released new brand FORMER, but sadly this is being billed as his ‘final chapter’ for his surfing. Go to the 36:40 mark of the video to watch a FORMER commercial featuring other founders Craig Anderson and Austyn Gillette. It’s the first that’s been shown of the new brand.

The kinda unofficial sequel to his 2006 signature film First Chapter, @sealtooth has just released Chapter 11 and it's playing exclusively on Stab. It's a 37-minute memoir that is meaningful, candid and incredibly honest. You've never heard the man speak in such an unguarded way. "I went with Quiksilver, ‘cause they had a sick logo, and told me they’d make a signature film, which was a weird call on their part ‘cause I was actually pretty shit.
